This love story begins at a bar in Charlotte, NC called Resident Culture. Ashley was out with friends celebrating her last Duke-UNC basketball game of pharmacy school while Andrew was supporting his groomsman, Naz (aka DJ Naz), at a performance. Towards the end of the show, Ashley and Andrew discussed meeting up that night, and (thankfully) they did. Andrew and Naz, with the help of a traffic cone (thats a story for another day), went to the bar where Ashley and her friends were. Not to sound cheesy, but the rest was history. We dont want to claim love at first site, but there is a picture of Ashley and Andrew from the night they met because they knew theyd want to have it to look back on in their future relationship (see pic).


Capitalizing on the momentum, Andrew invited Ashley to dinner the next night where he prepared salad, homemade pomodoro pasta, and opened a bottle of wine he had been saving for a special occassion. The couple spent every day together from that dinner until Andrew officially asked Ashley to be his girlfriend over coffee at their favorite cafe, Not Just Coffee.


Fast forward through countless family vacations, big life events (purchasing homes, graduations, etc.), and delicious dinners (thank you, Andrew), Andrew proposed in the Fall of 2023. It was a beautiful proposal at Ashleys family beach house in Avalon, NJ followed by celebrations with close friends and family.


Most recently, Ashley and Andrew moved across the country to Austin, TX where they have been able to make new friends and countless new memories. They look forward to celebrating their love story with you all in Charleston, South Carolina.
